OUR CULTURE

Music, Dance & Drama

Culture is one of the things that make us human. Culture shifts history: changing cultures can topple governments, alters global perceptions, creates or extinguishes conflicts. Culture feeds off itself and is today a primary driver of human behavior and society.

At SEROMA CHS, we recognize the huge need for human expression. This is a need that should be harnessed to enable an appropriate and full evolution of the individual. The time period spent by a boy at senior school comprises a narrow window of opportunity. However, it is perhaps the most crucial developmental stage of his life.

To cater for this need we offer a wide range of cultural activities that encourage self-expression, enhance self-confidence, facilitate the exploration of creativity and develop talents.

O' Level Derby

A competition is always organized yearly where S.3 and S.4 sportsmen and women compete in a number of games ranging from Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Netball and others

Swimming Pool Competition

Swimming is an individual or team racing sport that requires the use of one's entire body to move through water. The sport takes place in pools or open water. With the availability of a well established swimming pool in school, students take part swimming competitions

Talent Show

A talent show is an event in which participants perform the arts of singing, dancing, lip-syncing, acting, martial arts, playing an instrument, poetry, comedy or other activities to showcase skills. Many talent shows are performances rather than contests, but some are actual contests. At SEROMA Christian High School, Talent Show is always performed and Students compete in the race so they can get the best candidates for the show.

Prom Party

A promenade dance, commonly called a prom, is a dance party for high school students. It may be offered in semi-formal black tie or informal suit for boys, and evening gowns for girls. This event is typically held near the end of the school year. There may be individual junior and senior proms or they may be combined. In SEROMA Christian High School, PROM is combined for the S.4 and the S.6 so they can celebrate their last memory at school as they prepare for final exams.
